Casa Turrent Cigars is a prestigious Mexican brand recognized for its premium cigars. The Turrent family has a long history in tobacco farming and cigar making, dating back to the late 19th century. Alberto and Alejandro Turrent, owners of Nueva Matacapan de Tabacos S.A. de C.V., are the first family in Mexico’s cigar industry. This father-son duo not only craft some of Mexico’s finest cigars but also leads the country as its largest tobacco growers. Their San Andrés Maduro leaves are grown near Veracruz and are world-renowned for their exceptional quality. Many of America’s top premium cigar brands feature their tobacco as key ingredients.
In recent years, Casa Turrent has honoured key milestones in the company’s history. This year, to celebrate their 140th anniversary, they are paying tribute to the places, or Orígenes, that have been pivotal in the company’s journey.
