Alec Bradley, a renowned cigar brand, was founded in 1996 by Alan Rubin, the son of a hardware importer. Rubin named the brand after his two sons and launched it during the crowded cigar market of the late 1990s. Early efforts to market cigars for golfers and flavoured after-dinner options failed. However, Rubin found success selling budget-friendly cigars to tobacconists.

The breakthrough came in 2007 with the release of the full-flavoured “Tempus” line, which gained wide appeal. By 2011, Alec Bradley was selling 2 to 3 million cigars annually to enthusiasts worldwide.

Its filler is primarily Honduran, but the standout ingredient is Panamanian tobacco. While not illegal, Panamanian tobacco is rare in premium cigars and adds a distinctive touch to this Churchill.
