These two frat brothers from New York began their venture with humble beginnings—a tiny 16-square-foot retail kiosk in the World Trade Center.

In late 1998, Jonathan Drew moved to Estelí, Nicaragua, determined to spark a revolution in the cigar world. With just a few rollers and even less money, the legend of “That Wild Gringo” was born. From a New York City apartment to sleeping on a mattress above a rundown factory—and barely speaking Spanish—his journey was anything but ordinary.

The “All Dekked Out” campaign highlights the brand’s anniversary with sophisticated packaging and a bold, complex blend.  Drew Estate Undercrown 10 Corona features the highest priming of Mexican San Andrés dark wrapper, a premium Broadleaf binder from the Connecticut River Valley, and a tripa blend of rare Nicaraguan tobaccos.

This rich cigar delivers flavours of Mexican hot chocolate, natural sweetness, raisin, cacao, black pepper, espresso, and earthy woodiness. Born at La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate, Undercrown pays tribute to the creativity and dedication of Drew Estate’s torcedores. With roots in the rare vintages of Liga Privada, Undercrown has become a symbol of working-class pride and craftsmanship.
