DREW ESTATE LIGA PRIVADA No. 9 CORONET CIGAR
Drew Estate Cigars
Jonathan Drew and Marvin Samel didn’t inherit a cigar empire—they built one from scratch. Their journey began not in Cuba but in New York, fueled by passion and relentless determination. Two frat brothers with a dream started small, selling cigars from a 16-square-foot kiosk in the World Trade Center.
In 1998, Jonathan Drew made a daring move to Estelí, Nicaragua, determined to shake up the cigar industry. With little money, a handful of rollers, and an unshakable vision, he lived above a struggling factory, learning Spanish as he went. His unconventional approach earned him the nickname “That Wild Gringo” and set the foundation for Drew Estate’s rise.
Drew Estate thrives on innovation. Their cigars break the mold, blending bold flavors with cutting-edge techniques. From the infused sweetness of ACID to the rich complexity of Liga Privada, they craft smokes that appeal to both purists and modern smokers. Creativity drives everything they do, redefining what a cigar experience can be.
Liga Privada No. 9 Coronet
Originally blended for Jonathan Drew’s private collection, Drew Estate Liga Privada No. 9 Coronet Cigar stands out with its flawless construction, deep flavor, and exceptional character.
This masterpiece combines seven carefully selected tobaccos, each sourced from a different farm. The wrapper undergoes an 18-month fermentation process—handled entirely by hand, never exposed to sweat. Only four pairs of rollers in the factory hold the certification to craft this cigar, and each pair produces no more than 250 per day. After rolling, every cigar rests for a full year to ensure the highest quality.
Drew Estate doesn’t just make cigars—they create experiences.
