ASYLUM 13 SHORT CORONA CIGARS
CLE Cigar Company
Christian Eiroa, born in Danlí, Honduras in 1972, grew up surrounded by tobacco on the family’s Jamastrán farm. By age 8, he was already involved in tobacco work, setting the stage for his lifelong career in the industry.
In 1995, Christian returned to Honduras to deepen his knowledge of cigar making. The Eiroa family farm, located in the renowned Jamastrán Valley, is known for its advanced technology and strict environmental standards. Christian and his father, Julio, personally oversee the fields to produce only premium, Grade A tobacco. Each leaf is meticulously sorted for color and consistency, with 8,760 pounds of slow-cured tobacco used for the Eiroa brand. The leaves undergo 16 months of curing and 36 months of resting to achieve perfection.
The C.L.E. Cigar Factory in Danlí, once a theatre owned by Christian’s grandfather, has been transformed into the home of Eiroa cigars.
Asylum 13 Cigars
Asylum 13 Short Corona cigars offer a bold Nicaraguan experience. A dark Nicaraguan Habano wrapper surrounds aged Cuban-seed long-fillers from Nicaragua’s volcanic soils. The cigar delivers a medium to full-bodied profile with flavours of earth, cocoa, espresso, black tobacco, subtle sweetness, and gentle spices. Enjoy a slow, cool burn and a complex, satisfying smoke.
